| Notes / History | Some of the 157 delegates from Mitcham on a visit to Hengelo, Holland. The aim of the visit was to promote links between the two towns through sport and friendship. The sportsmen and women represented sports including football, korfball, tennis and swimming. Matches between the two towns were played. The last party of the visit was given by the Tubantia Football Club, who had been beaten earlier by the Carshalton football team. |
