| Notes / History | Champagne and strawberry stands at Wimbledon. Wimbledon tennis is regarded as a British institution, as are many of the refreshments on offer, notably strawberries and cream. In 1996 alone, stalls served up 27,000 kilos of the summer fruit, topped with 7,000 litres of double cream! |
