|Partial / Incomplete Date||February 2001|
|Notes / History||Shown is a view of the internal staircase of the Canons House. The present 17th Century Grade 2 listed house is on the site of a former Augustinian Priory. At the time this photograph was taken the house had been substantially altered both internally and externally and very few architectural features remained.
The original brickwork exposed in the staircase during internal work on the house in 2001 can be seen, together with the broad moulded bannister supported by twin barley sugar twisted bannisters.
