Notes / History An ox was roasted at Cannizaro Park to celebrate the Coronation of Edward VII in 1902.

The vast carcass was first paraded through the streets of Wimbledon. Here the supplying butcher, Mr. Lintott, is shown standing on the cart outside his shop at 17 Hartfield Road.
