The delegation arrive at the ancient Town Hall in Hengelo, which had been decorated with flags and a red carpet to greet the 36 Mitcham representatives arriving for the offical reception.
The aim of the visit was to forge links through sport between Mitcham and their adopted Dutch town. The allocation of billets were like to like - for example, a Mitcham footballer stayed in the home of a Dutch footballer.
