| Notes / History | The May Queen of Mitcham for 1961 was Sandra Keyes. This photo shows some of the youngsters who made up the May Queen's gaily dressed retinue. The procession from Three Kings ended at the Cricket Green for the crowning ceremony, led by the Mitcham St. John Ambulance Brigade Band. Displays by the Daphne Clarke School of Dance included the the traditional Maypole Dance. |
