Notes / History Formed at the time of the Jacobite Rebellion, 1745, the Kings Hussars gained an unparalleled reputation in the Peninsular War.

In 1813 they captured the chamber pot of Joseph Bonaparte, elder brother of Napoleon and at that time the King of Spain.
