| Notes / History | Brownie Jessie Cole with a bouquet for HRH Princess Mary, at the official opening of the Wilson Hospital, MItcham. The Princess became the Honorary Chief of the British Girl Guide Movement in 1920. The Brownie uniform has been redesigned many times in order to make it more practical and popular with those wearing it. This is one of the earlier versions, including the formal tie and woollen hat. |
