| Notes / History | This picture in the collection is shown as Seven Island Ponds. It is possible that in fact it may be One Island Pond. This is according to Philip Baxter, a local resident who recalls it as a young boy. The picture originally appeared in the Mitcham News and Mercury in 1957/58 and was incorrectly labelled according to Philip. |
