The photograph shows Mr Hudson and his son standing outside Lorne Villa, which was next to Berkeley Palace near the junction of Baron Grove and London Road.

Hudson opened a watch repair shop, but later moved to a small shop opposite the butchers in Lower Mitcham. He again moved to the High Street, Upper Mitcham.
