| Notes / History | Dr Ivor Evans, his daughter Judith and her husband Alan Prowse. All worked at the Elm Lodge, Cricket Green Practice as doctors. It had been a family run practice for 39 years. Dr Evans was one of the original members of the Wilson Hospital when it opened in 1928. A year later he joined Elm Lodge where he worked with his wife Dr Ulred Evans, who died in 1953, and was also an anaesthetist at the Wilson. |
