| Notes / History | Bathgate was a councillor for St MAYR’S Ward from 1907 to 1911. He became Alderman in 1911 and was so until 1940. He was also mayor from 1909-1910 and 1910-1911. Bathgate road was named after him. He died on the 17th May 1953 at the age of 87. |
