Notes / History These mill buildings may be those associated with Grove and Crown Mills at Mitcham Bridge and behind what is now known as the Fisheries Cottages, former mill worker homes. Close to the National Trust Watermeads area there were four mills here at one time, two on each bank of the River Wandle. Only the building of Grove Mill remains which has been converted into housing.
