| Notes / History | Hoards of youngsters have enjoyed paddling and hunting for small fish and snails in the waters of Three Kings Pond. The shallow area near the edge was particularly popular and a variety of jam jars and nets on cane poles were used for dipping. Notice the car showroom in the background – this picture was taken in 1958 when mass production of cars and scooters made vehicles increasingly affordable. |
