Notes / History Also known as Bishopsford Road Bridge.

The bridge carries Bishopsford Road over the River Wandle between Ravensbury Park, Mitcham Grove and Watermeads.The boy is astride the horse standing in the "Splash", the ford alongside the bridge.

The photographer is believed to have been Charles Matthews, Hairdresser and photographer
of 348/348 London Road, Mitcham.

There is a metal parish boundary marker in the western parapet bearing the date 1882.
