| Notes / History | Old ‘Punch’ Hugget was one of the ‘tough guys’ and ‘was not keen on regular work’. He used to pick wild fruits and hunt for days in order to ‘obtain a few coppers’. It is said that ‘Punch’ once bought a bottle of castor oil, ‘drank the contents, and chewed the glass bottle!’ |
