| Notes / History | The garage was to some extent as a public relations exercise on the part of the Underground authority. Designed to encourage motorists to leave their vehicle and travel by “Tube”, it had parking space for 300 cars and 200 bicycles or motorbikes. Petrol pumps, car-cleaning and light repairs were also available to patrons. |
