Notes / History Open-top tram to Crystal Palace.
Note the cyclist to the right of the tram - plenty of room - no danger of the tram veering in to him.
Cyclists had to be careful not to get their wheels stuck in the tram tracks.

A tram passing down the Croydon Road, near the Blue House Bridge. Amongst the buildings, far right, you can see several weatherboarded cottages and the old "Blue House" inn, built during the early 19th century. This is now the site of the Ravensbury Arms, which dates from 1906. This site was once the location of the manor pound,a corral for housing stray livestock found wandering on the Common.
