| Notes / History | The station opened with the Peckham Rye - Sutton Line on 1st October 1868. This picture was taken looking towards Croydon. This was prior to electrification as no third rail to be seen. The milk churns on the left hand platform are a reminder that this was a rural location for many years and maybe the nearer staff crossing was to facilitate movement of empty churns. |
