Notes / History The decade prior to the start of the First World War provided many opportunities for national celebration. One such occasion was the coronation of Edward VII. Here the shop overlooking the Cricket Green that belonged to Charlie Matthews, tailor, barber and amateur photographer can be seen decked in decornations for the event.
