|Notes / History||Old Tithe barn just before being pulled down to make room for Wilson Hospital. This building would have been used to store quantites of grain and agricultural produce paid as taxes to the church or lord of the manor.
This is an example of a fourteenth century tithe barn.
Main timbers were used to build Cranmer Middle School, Entrance Hall.
