| Notes / History | In Commonside East near to the former Beehive public house, which has now been extended and converted to flats, and next to the railway line was the yard of Jack Sparrowhawk and Son. An industrial rag, metal and waste paper merchants the business is over a 100 years old. A very old Mitcham family the Sparrowhawks have their roots in the Romany community. Willing to do seasonal work in the market gardens around Eastfields. |
