Ravensbury Mill has two waterwheels which are still in place today. This is a similar arrangement to those in Morden Hall the difference being that here they are housed within the building. A sluice gate is released to allow water to flow from the mill pond to drive the wheels.
One of the water wheels continued to be used for driving machinery until about 1965.
