Throughout the month of November, visitors to Merton Heritage Centre will be able to take a closer look at the beautiful hand drawn Wandle Treasures map, produced as part of a recent Heritage Lottery project.
The result of painstaking research by project volunteers, the map highlights many of the historic "treasures" that can be found along the banks of the River Wandle and in the surrounding area. They include historic houses, industrial buildings and archaeological sites.
In addition to viewing this unique map at close range, visitors can also find out more about the project which led to its creation.
