National Storytelling Week

Stories enrich the lives of people worldwide, whether fairy tales, ghost stories, romance, crime, fantasy or autobiography.

Between 30 January and 6 February storytellers, organisations across the UK will be taking part in National Storytelling Week. This nationwide celebration shows how stories help us to share ideas and experiences, entertain, educate and inspire people of all ages. 

This year National Storytelling Week will be very different, however Merton Library Service will be hosting a range of activities and resources online.

Merton Heritage Service has also compiled a special set of resources including films, reminiscences, children's resources and online displays to celebrate stories and storytelling.
