| Notes / History | Merantun Way was built along the former route of the Merton Abbey freight line, which served many of the factories in the Merton Abbey area of Colliers Wood. This picture shows children from Merton Abbey Primary School watching the first part of the new road being opened by the Mayor of Merton. Amongst those High Path properties shown in the distance are Ramsay House, May Court, the Trafalgar Pub and Marsh Court on Pincott Road. |
