Notes / History Also known as Beddington Lane Halt.

This station is on the Wimbledon to West Croydon Line which is now part of Croydon Tramlink.

Note the signal box which controls the level crossing gates, and thereby road traffic, as well as trains.

Also of note are the three semaphore signals. The single line from Wimbledon splits into three lines behind the photographer going towards Croydon. The centre signal controls the through passenger line and the two outer signals control goods traffic on the two lines that branch off.
