| Notes / History | This photograph shows nineteenth century fair-goers purchasing ice cream from a small stall. During the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries, these stalls were fairly common, and many were Italian-owned. One such outlet was run by the Tortellano family, who also had a café on the corner of Mitcham common. |
