Ordering and Prints
Changes to ordering arrangements.
Most of the photographs on this website are available for personal use or private research. High quality prints also make ideal gifts and are priced comparably with similar online photo libraries.
From 30 January 2023 there will be a number of changes to our ordering system. Customers can still order digital downloads of certain images direct from the Merton Memories website, however orders for hard copy prints will now be handled directly by Merton Heritage Service.
The images are subject to copyright and cannot be copied, shared, reproduced online or in any other format without advance permission from Merton Heritage Service and/or the relevant project partners.
Use of images for publication, display or commercial purposes:
Anyone wishing to use Merton Memories images for publication (books, magazines, articles, online); displays (internal/external) or commercial purposes (advertising, promotion, souvenirs, etc), must seek advance permission from Merton Heritage Service.
Staff can then advise on reprographics, fees, terms and conditions.
Please Note: Some images have been supplied by project partners for use on this website. We cannot provide copies of this material without permission from the relevant organisation.

Digital downloads:
Cost per image: £6.99
Downloads can be ordered direct from this website using the Buy a Copy section of each image page.
Images will be supplied by our contractors, Townsweb Archiving Ltd for the purposes outlined above.

To order photographic prints:
Please contact Merton Heritage Service if you require hard copy prints. These will be produced by the Merton Print department on high quality satin photographic paper.
5 x 7" (13 x 18cms) : £10.00
10 x 8" (20.3 x 25.4cms): £14.00
These prices are inclusive of packaging, postage and VAT for UK delivery ONLY.
Larger sizes are available on application.

You will need to quote the picture reference found on the individual Merton Memories image page e.g. Mit_26_7-9 and the size of print required.
PLEASE NOTE: The image displayed online may not be an exact representation of the image in the archive. Colour and contrast may differ. Some images may need to be cropped to the size you select - therefore your print may not show the entire image. Your print may show a white border depending on the size of the image and the size of print ordered. Please read the full Terms and Conditions relating to the Print Ordering process.
Please allow up to 7 days for your prints to be delivered.
