| Notes / History | 'Old Time Dance' event at Morden British Legion. Despite the rise of rock and roll, ballroom dancing remained popular during this period. There were still a number of dance schools to guide the unitiiated and dancing gave both young and old the chance to socialise with their peers. This group is dancing to a live band, however other such events relied on a gramaphone. |
