| Notes / History | Mitcham's May Queen, Elizabeth Holbrow aged fourteen. Her Prince Charming was played by Pamela Thompson. The Mayor, Councillor T.J. Higgs, crowned the May Queen in a ceremony held on the Cricket Green. There was a display of dances, including the traditional Maypole, Garland and country dances. |
