| Notes / History | At Christmas time in Mitcham, the Rotary Club traditionally collected donations for the poor and needy. In 1958, Jack the Donkey assisted them with this; he spent his days walking through the town with collection boxes on his flanks. Jack stayed with licensee Mr. Alf Pays until after Christmas; here, Mr. Pays introduces Jack to some local residents on Commonside East. |
