| Notes / History | Photo taken during the Diamond Jubilee of Queen Victoria. The winning entry in the parade is that of Mr. Cooper, a coal, corn, and flour merchant, whose business was at the Cricket Green near the site of Robinson Dairy. The float is a representation of Old King Cole (hence a pun). Behind the cart can be seen the Batsworth Road allotment holder banner. |
