| Notes / History | An entry in the fancy dress/tableaux parade at the third Mitcham carnival and fete held on the 18th June 1938 to raise funds for the Wilson Hospital, Mitcham. This float was a tableau of Oliver Twist by the Hospital Savings Association (HSA). Over 25,000 people watched the parade which attracted a good number of entrants, and which was part of a seven hour long programme of entertainments and events held at Mitcham Stadium. |
