Notes / History | Ravensbury Park is on the site of the old Ravensbury Manor which dates back to the 13th century. Over the years it has also been part of an important industrial area with Ravensbury Mill and a calico print works located there in the 17th and 18th centuries. The River Wandle runs through the park and there are some pretty riverside walks. There is also a children's play area. |
