| Notes / History | During the early 20th century, this area was home to Bertha Lorsignol, Treasurer and key member of the Wimbledon WSPU. This was the local branch of a giant campaign group, the Women's Social and Political Union, (often termed the "Suffragettes") which fought for women's right to vote. |
