Notes / History | It is believed Elm Lodge was erected circa 1807 by Edward Tanner Worsfold, a local maltster. It is an attractive property built in the style of the Regency period. Listed as a Grade II building of architectural and historic importance, it is situated by the Mitcham Cricket Green within the Cricket Green Conservation area. Of interest is the fact that the property has, for the majority of its existence, been occupied by local doctors. |
