Notes / History | This street was named after Leopold, Duke of Albany, eighth child of Queen Victoria. These fine three storey houses would originally have been family homes, with servants quarters set into the roof area. However, many have now been divided into flats. Notice the early car in the background, a sure sign of the financial status of the area. |
