| Notes / History | This photograph shows Mayor Aid. H.T. Simms handing out safe driving awards. Whilst is not certain who is in this photograph those receiving 6-9 year safe driving bars to their five year medals were; G.F. Barnes, E.W. Brookbanks, A.J. Brown, C.F. Courtnell, L. House, C.J. Smith and J. Still. Five year medals were also presented to three other drivers. A number also received diplomas for accident free driving during 1957. |
