72 years of the National Health Service.
As the National Health Service celebrates the 72nd anniversary of its foundation, people throughout the UK will be joining together to thank NHS staff for their hard work, professionalism and dedication.
To mark this historic occasion, Merton Heritage Service has compiled a range of resources to pay tribute to the thousands of medical staff who have worked in the NHS since 1948. We should never forget their tireless commitment or the sacrifices they have made, particularly during the current pandemic.
