| Notes / History | Shown is the old 14th Century Tithe barn which, together with the Cranmers House, was pulled downin 1928 in order to built the Wilson Cottage Hospital. The tithe barn would have been used to store quantites of grain and agricultural produce paid as taxes to the church or lord of the manor. Main timbers were used to build the Cranmer Middle School Entrance Hall. |
