| Notes / History | Shown is one of the high rise buildings built by the Mitcham Borough Council in the 1950's. Shortly following the end of the 2nd World War there was an urgent requirement for social housing. The Estate was built alongside the Mitcham railway line. Part of the Estate was built over an old gravel pit. |
