| Notes / History | Despite the rise of rock and roll, ballroom dancing remained popular during this period. There were still a number of dance schools to guide the unitiated and dancing gave both young and old the chance to socialise with their peers. This group is dancing to a live band, however other such events relied on a gramaphone. |
