| Notes / History | Easter Fair, Mitcham, 1958. A timetable of seasonal fairs took place throughout the Borough during the 1950’s, including church and school fetes. Mitcham Fair, on Three Kings Piece was still well attended. The two teenage lads ( lower centre , left ) can be seen sporting the classic D. A. (“Ducks Arse”) haircut, and appear to be wearing jeans, showing the fashion of the day. |
