| Notes / History | This image, captured at the Wimbledon Stadium greyhound track, features actor Jeff Stewart who played the role of P.C. Reg Hollis; Sally Rogers (P.C. Jo Masters); and Claire Goose (Inspector Rachel Weston) in the long-running ITV television drama series – The Bill. The interiors for the show were shot in Colliers Wood, and the exterior shots were filmed around Merton. Merton residents could often see the cameras on location around the borough prior to the show’s cancelation in 2010. Wimbledon Stadium was demolished in 2017 after ninety years at the location. |
