Notes / History The Commons Conservators still take an interest in the condition of this part of the Common and receive an annual fee from the Golf Club.

During the interwar period, the founder of the Club, Sir Harry Mallaby-Deeley M.P. (a resident of Mitcham Court, near Cricket Green) nominated four trustees to run the golf course and maintain the section of Common used for play.

Today, most of the trustees are also Club members.
