| Notes / History | A turn of the century picture of Church Road bending to the left towards the Parish Church. Notice the Weather Board cottages, also on the left. These were common in the 18th and 19th centuries but were pulled down in favour of more modern brick cottages. Further along the road you can make out The Bull Public House. According to the 1901 census return ,in 1891 the premises were run by Mr Charles Tribe. |
