Not quite enough room for two - Typical scene at Eastfields level crossing. British Railways have begun part one of a scheme which will eventually iron-out the bottleneck at the Eastfields level crossing,Mitcham.

Workmen have begun preliminary stages towards moving the signal box from the Eastfields Road side of the track to the Tamworth Lane side.
