Emergency escape routes.

Given the usual high footfall at the Discovery Day, I am highlighting additional emergency escape routes.

The main escape route, marked in red on the plans below, is always the one we should aim to use. This means the Civic Centre front doors and for the library - the corner fire exit staircase near the front of the building (all library floors). However if these routes are blocked for some reason, it is useful to know about alternatives. In an emergency, library and security staff will assist with evacuation.

We do not advise using the lifts in case of power failure.
