Notes / History | This may be a photograph of a bridge over the Wandle at Beddington Corner although its location is uncertain. In 1919, shortly after this photograph was taken, there were three mills at Beddington Corner in addition to substantial watercress beds and allotments. Beddington, once famous for its leather industry, is now said to be one of the best bird-watching sites in London. |
